I'm going to post the hardest swim from the book "your first triathlon" because you are all excellent swimmers..... Please note that this workout does NOT need to be done right now. Doing shorter variations of this would be good right now.
Remember that the best thing you are going to do is focus on form and keep to the 50's and 100's...
Take a look at this good one:
Swim Workout #8. This is for experienced swimmer.
Warm up as follows:
50-yard swim in zone 1
50-yard kick in zone 1
100-yard pull in zone 2
100-yard swim in zone 2
Then do four 100-yard swims in zone 3 (10 second recoveries)
Rest for 1 minute
Then do four 100-yard swims (10 second recoveries) with each one slightly faster than the previous one, but all below zone 5.
Rest 1 minute.
Cool Down with a 200-yard zone 1 swim.
Note: you may vary this workout by changing the four 100-yard wims to eight 50-yard swims, two 200-yard swims, or some other patter.
Total: 1,300 yards.
