Ice Breaker Triathlon

This may be a good opportunity to see your course and help out... Below you will see opportunities to volunteer and see the race... Mark your calendars and get on out there....

When:  Saturday MARCH 26th

Where:  AFFC facility (pool, roads around the area for the bike and run)
Time:    9 a.m. (until you finish!)
Who:    EVERYONE and ANYONE interested in accomplishing the feat of finishing a triathlon!

For ALL official Timp Tri Club members (currently have a membership as of….NOW) you get an additional $15 off registration cost of the race.

Here is what we need help with: Sponsors, Volunteers and Athletes.... (See below)


SPONSORS:
We need anyone or any business who wants to give us money, raffle prizes, swag
(about 350 items to put in athletes? bags), or volunteers.  We have had many
things donated in the past for swag bags?chapstick, shampoo,
pedometers?basically, we?ll take just about anything (except ads?that?s lame,
unless they are giving us something really cool to make up for putting more
paper in the swag bags!)

VOLUNTEERS:
Lauralyn has graciously volunteered to head up the volunteers.  She needs tons
of help, so volunteer yourself, your family, or your friends.


ATHLETES:
It wouldn?t be a race if no one signed up!  I have attached a copy of the flier
we are putting around at businesses.  Help us get the word out and get people
signed up.  To sign up, go to www.timptriclub.com and click on the icebreaker
sign up button.  Registration is done through regtix, so you won?t find it on
active.com.  This is a great race for beginners, especially those who are
worried about the swim.  There are tons of newbies, so no one should feel
intimidated.  And for those who want a serious competition, Dave Warden will
show you how it?s done!
