Good nutrition is critical to a healthy lifestyle and assists with improvements in your training. Whether your goal is to increase in speed, decrease in weight or simply become more healthy, below are 9 strategies you can use to manage your calories and become more aware of your eating health:
  1. Buy groceries with a plan in mind.
  2. Keep a record of your daily calories in and out.
  3. Eat a lot of high-fiber, low-calorie foods
  4. Reduce the variety of foods at a meal.
  5. Stop when you are satisfied, not stuffed.
  6. Choose smaller portions.
  7. Include your favorite, unhealty foods - sometimes.
  8. Monitor weight daily.
  9. Don't skip meals.
